Arrogant Bastard One man black metal strikes the giant on the head again!
And Then Twilight Fell unleashes scorching blackened riffs from the bowels of Múspell marching against the famed folky traditions of the Æsir. The resulting clash blends two ordinarily juxtaposed elements, creating a sound worthy of a Ragnarök, the end of everything, but the beginning of something new.
Legitimately cannot think of folky black metal I enjoy more than this.
Favorite track: Hordes Ready on Naglfar.

Loki Unbound 06:25
Father of beasts, shapeshifting trickster Bound by the entrails from one of his own The serpent of Skadi no longer to burn Unbound at last and now free to roam End times have come, off to the battle Eager to join beasts in the fray Twilight of Aesir, Loki unbound Joining the jotnar this day Sigyn can rest, the venom is gone now Aligned with the giants to tear down the world Death follows the unbinding Now the trickster is free Death of Baldr led to downfall Now that is all behind Loki and Heimdallr will face each other The battle will soon begin But now the shapeshifting pest is away To seek out allies with hopes to win Off to the dead ship to set forth To join in burning the world Loki the trickster now is unbound His hate and malice unfurled

Ship of death, nailcraft horror Hrym at the helm, wrathful jotunn Trickster approaches to join the mob Hordes of Hel's minions Set forth by the serpent, writhing wild Follow the wolf Come from the east, from old Muspelheim Sailing upon the floods Waters are churning, the eagle soars high Pale-beaked, he tears the corpse Now off to battle, to face the high ones To ravage Midgard in force Smashing the bridge, raiding Asgard All life has now run its course Grasping his shield, bloodlust rises Legion on board Set against Aesir, in the end times now Clashing of titans, monsters and beasts Destroying the world Sailing vast oceans, on nails of dead Follow the wolf Ship of the dead Raiding and slaying the living Taking all life Ushering end times foretold from the start Now Hrym readies for the conflict All in his path shall meet death Nails of decay, churning the waters Bringing the armies up to the shore
4.
Wolven predation now comes to a close Mocking and hating children of the sky Skoll and Hati, jaws draw near to Sol and Mani Across the sky now for so long, set the cosmos free Chariots asunder, tearing flesh from bone Skies darken and begin to fall The wolves' chase ends in mortal wounds Devouring all the blazing light Round since the cosmos began Now fallen low as prey The chase is at its end All light put out this day Howling, gnashing, clenching fangs Siblings shall be slain The wolves now free to end their course Causing ceaseless pain All is dark and death draws near Sun and moon both fall All the beasts are out to play At the Ragnarok call Why has this fate come so swift All light is put out Mocking, hating those they sought Casting fearful doubt
5.
Ashen, blade in hand Surtr rises to burn the land Giants marching to war Soon the world shall be no more One by one fires rise A bright sword flashes before your eyes Set from Muspelheim, now they march A fiery blade cuts through the dark Surtr and Freyr will soon fight March of the giants and Hrym's sailing might Set from Muspelheim, now they march A fiery blade cuts through the dark And now the land is engulfed in flame Now is the time of the jotnar reign Fire set to the land Surtr wields giant sword in hand Time for epic battle to begin This time the jotnar side shall win
6.
He of war and victory Once, justice was brought While binding with Gleipnir Gave right hand with forethought The first, given up to Fenrir Betrayed and bound But now the last shall clash With Hel's guarding hound Tyr steps into Ragnarok Garmr stands in his way War and death meet with force The battle starts and ends this day One handed mastery of steel Claws and fangs so foul Both lie slain in the end Following the beast's final howl Another Aesir falls The lawbringer now lies still The Hel hound is taken in the descent Both have made their last kill Asgard and Helheim, one of each fades As the cosmos will soon Wisdom will be devoured The skies already consumed One by one, the names they fall Back to primordial state Jotnar and the beasts now rise Unleashing all their hate Fangs meet steel Final stand of Tyr Garmr's howl All are stricken with fear
7.
Another offspring of the trickster now rises high The Midgard serpent unleashes its awful cry Wrapped around the world no more, the beast releases its tail And through the sky the protector of mankind sails Son of Odin, Mjolnir in hand, Thor arrives for the fight Preparing to engage the beast with all his Aesir might Thunder roars as poison sprays into the air and sea Jormungandr thrashes fierce as all monsters roam free When Ragnarok began the beast's tail was released But now the einherjar have taken their last feast Thor and the serpent, clashing above, who will win the day? Venomous fangs bite out in hate as Mjolnir hammers away Serpent laid low, dead Hammer dropped low, dead The serpent, laid low, crashes to the ocean, dead As he of Asgard returns to the land The mighty one of strength drops the hammer low Stricken by venom, nine paces left, another Aesir falls
8.
Another Loki offspring, Fenrir and wisdom meet The highest, Odin, devoured and now lost to the beast Father of Skoll and Hati now faces One-Eye's son Vidarr the silent, master of vengeance, certain his sword will feast Mighty Aesir with half jotunn blood, revenge has consumed his will The gigantic wolf leaps into the fray, razor sharp fangs lunging for the kill Silent and swift, revenge goes on the hunt With Odin now fallen, Vidarr moves to the front To face the mighty Fenrir, he'll stab out at his heart Grabbing the jaws, tearing in half, as foretold from the start Vengeance has been brought, blade found flesh A mighty boot upon the jaw Of Asgard and jotnar Vidarr has prevailed He of the runes has been avenged, now the beast lies slain But the world still burns all around, everything screaming in pain Offspring of Odin shall weather the flames, and survive to the other side The stars will reignite and once again they shall burn bright
